Job Title Process Sales Engineer - Mineral Processing Equipment - British Columbia (BC) Territory

As we continue to grow, we are currently seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team.

Presently we have an opening for a Process Sales Engineer with a proven sales track record in the mineral processing/heavy equipment industry.

Responsibilities for this role will include:

  • Meet Sales Department Goals and Objectives for the assigned territory.
  • Gather market intelligence within the market area. Use this information to improve lead generation and sales success.
  • Maintain excellent Customer Relations. Facilitate expanding and improving these relationships.
  • Work with Marketing Plan to improve and facilitate greater sales opportunities and success for the company as a whole.
  • Provide customer insights into the product development process. Produce and collect data from annual Customer Survey. Work with Westpro Service Department to facilitate additional sales etc..
  • Provide sufficient detail to Westpro team members to facilitate timely bid/no bid decisions.
  • Provide excellent customer follow-up and maintain accurate, timely customer database.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The position has an attractive commission structure and comfortable base salary.
Education & Certifications
  • Bachelorís degree required (or equivalent related experience)

  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng) Designation - an asset.
Experience & Skills
  • 5-10 years sales experience in mineral processing/heavy equipment/machinery, preferably dealing with capital equipment in mining or related industry.
  • Familiarity with minerals processing equipment and systems applications in mines, power plants, cement plants, pulp & paper plants, and other industrial facilities is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, be highly motivated, self-starting individual with the ability to plan, organize and work independently.
  • Seasoned Sales Expert
  • Excellent English; French or Spanish an asset
